Dear Mr.Brown,

Reading was fun and I enjoyed reading in your class this year! It made me more productive and helped me improve my spelling I am truly grateful! I really hope you can have fun this summer and maybe I will see you! Overall thank you once again for everything!

Ghost boys

I really think Jerome is improving on himself. Well according to the text, he tells both of his sides when he’s dead and when he’s alive. I feel bad for him he got shot for no reason yes, he had a toy gun but they should’ve examined it closely but they didn’t have no choice and shoot him I was furious by this ever since then people been killing black people,Asians, muslims etc… for no specific reason just for their skin color.

Ghost Boys

I think Jerome is pretty cool. According to the text, he describes on his dead life and his living how life. It makes me wonder how is he telling both of his sides? I was confused how could he be shot then be telling both sides? Well I guess the author doesn’t tell us.

When Stars are Scattered -final post-

⭐⭐⭐⭐

The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it didn’t really give me any interest or excitement at all but it had a really good backstory to it at the end. Overall I recommend it!

Favorite character: Omar

The reason why Omar is my favorite character is because he’s very responsible and respectful. He takes care of his brother which is an extra point to me because I’m basically like him.

Favorite moment:When they went to America

I really enjoyed this part because it was heartwarming that Omar and his brother get go to America and chase their dreams.

When Stars are Scattered-finish book-

I feel like Omar will become famous. According to the text, everyone in his village or camp knows him and cares for him like their own son I was surprised by the backstory of Omar and his bother it made me really sad on how his mother had left him there for years and with barley any food or water. His life had been tough ever since he started school but then they received something they never expected he’s going to American! I was really happy for him and his bother because they never went outside of his camp for 7 years. But then again he’s going to leave everyone there hungry and poor but he had no other choice this was his dream ever since when he wanted to find his mother. Overall I felt happy for them to go to America and maybe even become famous from his words.

When Stars are Scattered ch 4-9

I feel like Omar is very responsible. According to the text, he takes care of this bother and tried to get him and his bother to Canada or America it’s been awhile since they have stayed at this camp it makes me feel bad for living there for 7 years I kinda want to see their backstory honestly. There’s really not much to say expect that he wants people to notice him and his village and wanted people to see that his bad their life’s are. I felt bad for his bother he can’t speak and can’t go to school cause he can’t speak and good thing his bother teaches him everyday after school another thing that shocked me was that Omar wanted to be a teacher and teach kids.

When Stars are Scattered ch. 3

I think Omar is very respectful. According to the text, Omar respects everyone in the village and takes care of his family and takes care of his brother while their in a refugee camp. I think that Omar is sort of like me because he takes care of his brother and goes to school. I feel really bad for him and his brother because they stayed there for 7 years that’s pretty much is whole life and they never really have enough food he also doesn’t have access to medical care which is for his brother recovering from a seizure.

Nothing Ever happens on 90th Street

Nothing ever happens on 90th Street by Roni Schotter shows that at first nothing ever happens. In the beginning Mr.SIms tells Eva nothing ever happens a bit later Eva starts writing a poetry then people were giving her ideas but then people were going crazy In the end Eva made a story nothing ever happens.

Amal Unbound -Final blog-

⭐⭐⭐⭐

The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because some of the words are a bit hard for some people to pronounce it and the book didn’t really give me interest. Usually I would want a squeal but this time not so much it may not be a book for me but maybe to you. But overall I kinda liked the book.

Favorite character is Amal

My favorite character is Amal because she is very brave she is one of those people who doesn’t really care about what gets to her or anything unless it’s a big deal then yeah. I think she has really big plans ahead of her , Amal represents MANY girls in Pakistan and around the world that fight for justice.

Favorite moment: When her family is bothering her

I have no clue on why I like this art and I kinda think it was funny. My family usually bothers me but I kinda got used to it, It’s a good way to spend some time with your family but it was funny though. I don’t have a conclusion to the story but overall it’s good and this is pretty much the only part I like since I couldn’t really understand what else was happening

Amal Unbound - By Aisha Saeed : Target

Amal Unbound ch. 18-29

I think her family is going crazy. Her family is having random conversation about Amal and she probably doesn’t like it that much and I can really understand why. I’ve been through it myself I really appreciate that she is outgoing and really confident I love her expressions she LOVES to read and I had to stand this out. And she kinda looks like she maybe hates living in the household and that’s why she should go escape and maybe make a small business out scratch. I really think Amal has a really good chance becoming a teacher and a maybe a millionaire and how exactly? She reads books and research about things that none has taught her. I really hope her parents support her because being a doctor , dentist and a lawyer is still being the same thing as a teacher.
